Beginner Pirouette & Pointe is only suitable for Grade 4 Ballet standard + and have been told by Miss Vicki they are ready to join the class.

Pointe work in classical ballet is formalised by pointe technique. It is performed in pointe shoes and is present in the NATD ballet syllabus. Ballet dancers must have great strength and good technique to be able to do pointe work, so a lot of practice is required. Dancers have to dance for a few years before they can start practice pointe technique.

NATD Examinations are available in this style.
