Fusion is a brand new spectacular dance show exclusively curated for dance schools in the NATD North Midland Theatrical Area!

This event promises to be a dazzling display of talent, bringing together young dancers aged 7 and above from various schools. The stage is set for your school to shine as you prepare to perform up to 2 captivating dance pieces of your choice, showcasing any dance style you choose. This unique platform not only allows your dancers to demonstrate their skills but also provides a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the art of dance with other friendly NATD dance schools in your area.
Break a leg!
Each school may enter two groups from age 7 upwards, and it can be a mixed group with any dance style. The maximum music length is 10 minutes split however you like between both of your performances.
Ticket Prices:
There is no fee for performing in FUSION!
Audience tickets are priced at £12 per person. Unfortunately we do not offer any concessions.
Chaperones
Every school performing in FUSION must come with their own chaperones adhering to these specific chaperone ratios:
1 Chaperone is required for every 10 children aged 9 and under.
1 Chaperone is needed for every 12 children aged 10 and over.
Licensed chaperones must be organised and arranged by each individual school.
Chaperone must wear a backstage lanyard/badge at all times. They should be present in the dressing rooms during the costume changes, escort dancers to the stage, watch the school's performance, and then escort them offstage back to the dressing rooms.
Music & Performance Rules:
Music should not exceed a maximum of 10 minutes across both performances. This can be split however you like. Music can be sent by email or WeTransfer to: northmidlandtheatrical@natd.org.uk no later than 30th March 2025.
Guidelines: Please ensure your routines, music, and costumes are age-appropriate. Be mindful of sensitive subjects, especially in a children's event. Avoid topics related to mental health, historic traumatic events, or recent global issues like the COVID epidemic or the Ukraine war.
